Robert Gillies is an RIAA platinum-certified songwriter and artist from Scotland, now living & working in Bergen, Norway.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he developed relationships with music industry names like Charlie Puth, Bryce Vine, and Sir Nolan, he lived in Los Angeles, writing with those same classmates, as well as others such as Bebe Rexha, X Ambassadors, Andy Grammer, Salem Ilese, and Nile Rodgers. He’s an incisive, driven, and energetic writer, and brings that energy to every session.

As an artist he recently signed to V2 Records Benelux where he’s been busy releasing a series of self-produced singles, leading up to an EP due to be released on September 29th. He has received strong editorial support across the Nordics, as well as radio play on NRK P3. His goal in 2024 is to continue a steady stream of releases, as well as gaining a live following across Europe through showcases, festivals, and support dates.
