Robert Gillies is an RIAA platinum-certified songwriter, producer, and artist from Scotland, now living & working in Bergen, Norway.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he developed relationships with music industry names like Charlie Puth, Bryce Vine, and Sir Nolan, he lived in Los Angeles, writing with those same classmates, as well as others such as Bebe Rexha, X Ambassadors, Andy Grammer, Salem Ilese, and Nile Rodgers. He’s an incisive, driven, and energetic writer, and brings that energy to every session.

As a songwriter-producer, he has distinguished himself as a hundred-percenter as well as a team player, hunting down universal concepts & memorable melodies. He is currently developing several acts for Made Management (Aurora, Sigrid), as well as traveling to sessions in Stockholm & the UK with UMPG’s blessing.

As an artist he signed to V2 Records Benelux where he released two EPs, and received strong editorial support across the Nordics, as well as radio play on NRK P3.
